This Module displays an image or loads a CSS-File from your choosen directory depending recursively on the active menu item and the menus structure.

It is usefull for e.g. to simply change header images or the color of article titles. But it can be very powerful too by completely changing the view of your website by adding different style sheets depending on the active menu item without the need of making multiple templates.

Template Engine - TinyButStrong

This plug-in enables you to make dynamic pages using the TinyButStrong Template Engine under Joomla. Unlike Smarty and other engines, TinyButStrong allows templates made using a visual editor. This makes it the ideal tool to make few dynamic pages, or even complete PHP applications implemented in a CMS.

Zak Author 2 CB Plugin

Finally, a Joomla! 1.5 and Community Builder 1.2 successor to CB Authorbot.

If you don’t already know what authorbot does, it links the author’s name in an article to their Community Builder profile.

This release works without any problem, but is listed as alpha as it requires a trivial 1 line edit to a core Joomla file that doesn’t affect functionality in any way. Just install, enable, and your author names will be linked to their CB profile page.

If you log in as an editor or above in the frontend (and haven’t performed the 1 line edit), you will see some oddity before the “Edit Item” icon - this is because the author name is (IMHO) gratuitously placed in a tooltip for the icon, despite it being shown at the top of the article anyway. This doesn’t affect functionality - it just looks odd.

If you want to make it go away, just change line 122 in [Joomla base path]/components/com_content/helpers/icon.php from:
$overlib .= $author;

to:
// $overlib .= $author;

(i.e. comment it out) If you are apprehensive about changing a core file, you can omit this step, and public or registered members will have no problems. The odd stuff before the edit icon is only seen by editor members or above, and in any case it doesn’t affect functionality.

* Define the position and other parameters of your DiaShow with the module:
o width of the slideshow
o height of the slideshow
o The width of the image border
o The color of the image border
o The bgcolor of the textfield
o Delay between image change, in milliseconds
o to show pictures in random order
* Create different DiaShows with the component
* You can define for each picture in the Diashow if it should have:
o a title for the image
o where the image is linked to (URL)
o the target of the link
o under which menu entries this image will be shown (all or one or several of you menu entries)

So you can define several DiaShows, all showing different images on different pages!
Or simply all pictures on all pages…
