Have just discovered this fantastic chat module for Joomla 1.0 - had it running within 5 mins of download.

It’s free and it has everything you’d want from a site chat - remembers all posts even when you load a new page.

If you follow regularly the Joomla’s releases of plugins and modules then you understand me if I tell you that this module is a kind of mixture between the Joomla’s feed module and the RoklatestNews module. In other words: this module allows the displaying of a syndicated feed using Mootools library (the accordion effect, in fact).
